"We are pleased to have entered this partnership with the Eleven on behalf of the Crew, with whom we share a common mission and vision," said Holt, who recently ended his involvement with Formula One racing. Last week, Eleven owner Ersal Ozdemir announced that he had sold the club to an investor group led by Indianapolis businessman Christopher B. Hansen. The announcement did not identify the Hansen group. Those investors then turned around and sold the West Side stadium to Blash and his partners. Blash declined to comment. The ownership group plans to make stadium enhancements to ensure that it can be used for a wide range of sports, including soccer and lacrosse, according to the announcement. Blash plans to convert the stadium to “one of the premier soccer-specific facilities in the United States.” Indy Eleven is owned by Ozdemir. Blash, president of the Eleven, is a Chicago-based company that builds office buildings and is a partner in the downtown Chicago Blackhawks arena.
